DONALD R. FORSYTH • TRIAL ATTORNEY

Criminal Defense, Handled Personally.

Donald R. Forsyth at the working waterfront in Darien, Georgia

I’m Donald R. Forsyth. I represent people facing felony and misdemeanor charges, DUI, probation violations, and serious traffic matters in McIntosh, Glynn, and Camden Counties.

I keep my caseload limited by design so I can remain directly responsible for the legal advice, strategy, preparation, and courtroom work in each matter I accept.

Your Case Stays With Me

When I take on your case, I am the one studying the evidence, explaining your choices, preparing the defense, and standing beside you in court.

Staff may help with scheduling, documents, and administrative matters. Legal advice and case strategy come from me.

No lawyer can promise the outcome of a criminal case. What I offer is candid advice, careful preparation, direct communication, and personal responsibility.

When you hire me, I am not simply the name on the website. I am the lawyer responsible for your case.

Focused on Criminal, DUI, and Traffic Defense

Criminal Defense

I defend cases ranging from misdemeanors to the most serious felony charges, including murder, aggravated assault, drug offenses, and probation violations. I begin with the charge, the evidence, the court, and what must happen next.

Local Roots. Courtroom Work.

I was raised in McIntosh and Glynn Counties. My work regularly takes me into courtrooms throughout Georgia’s coastal counties, including McIntosh, Glynn, and Camden. I understand the local geography, courthouse locations, calendars, and procedures that affect how criminal and traffic cases move.

I served as a cavalry scout—an Army reconnaissance role—with 3rd Squadron, 7th Cavalry Regiment during the 2003 Iraq War. That experience reinforced the habits I bring to legal work: listen carefully, prepare thoroughly, remain steady under pressure, and take responsibility for work that carries my name.
